Unrest || Don

Danny then called Don. "Don, we got a lead as to where Lessing is. 86th and Lexington. Stella and Lovato are on their way to pick him up." he said.

Mac pulled out his own phone, getting a similar update from Stella: "Me and Lovato are on our way to pick up Lessing. We got an address, finally." "Thanks for the update, Stell. Keep me in the loop and let me know if there's trouble. He might try to play with you again."

Stella smiled. "You'll be the first to know, Mac." she said.

Mac nodded. "Thanks, and I appreciate it, Stell," he said with a smile.

Stella and Lovato arrived at the address, hoping they would find Lessing. "Lessing, NYPD, open the door now!!!" Stella said.

Lovato had her gun drawn as she stood by Stella. She didn't want to take any chances and she listened carefully for any response. It definitely sounded like someone was there. She shot a quick glance at Stella, "He's running!"

Stella radioed for backup. "I need backup at 268 West 42nd Street. Officer in pursuit of suspect. All available units respond."

Jaime kicked in the door. Yes, they needed backup. No, they didn't have time to wait for it. "NYPD!" she yelled, most likely unnecessarily, as she broke into a run after their suspect. This was the man that had put Don's life at risk twice, using the same method. Hell, no, she wasn't letting him get away. And there was Mac to mention, as well. Like... How stupid did you have to be??

Danny and Lindsay responded to the backup call. "Stella, Lindsay and I are heading your way." he said.

Stella nodded, following Jaime. "Alright. He's running! We're chasing him now!"

Lindsay got in the car and headed to where Stella and Lovato were. "Stell, I got a visual, left corner of a restaurant on 42nd." she said.

"Got it," Stella responded, finally catching up with Lovato.

Lovato ran to the west side of the restaurant. "He's heading in the restaurant, 12, o'clock, Lindsay." she said.

"I see him," Lindsay said, getting out of the truck with Danny and started after their suspect.

Danny drew his gun and kept an eye on Lessing. "Circle around the back side, I'll meet u inside, Linds." he said.

Lindsay nodded in agreement and pulled her own gun. "Got it. Be safe," she said. "This guy's taken two of us out twice, the same way. I'm not apt to increase the number of us or the number of times."

Danny entered the restaurant slowly and crept up behind where Lessing was seated. "Lessing, NYPD, put your hands up and step away from the table. Do it or I will be forced to shoot u. I don't wanna do that so I suggest u cooperate." he said.

Lindsay had circled around back to meet Danny as was suggested, and she was relatively glad she was able to meet him when he'd crept up behind Lessing. The last thing they needed now was for Lessing to try anything. "I'd advise just coming with us," she said, "We can talk this all out then, and there's a lot less chance of a lot of people getting hurt that way, Lessing."

Lessing cooperated, surprisingly, and he headed with Danny, Lovato, Stella, and Danny to the Precinct. Danny called Mac to let him know they caught Lessing. "Mac, we got him, we're heading back to the Precinct with him right now." he said.

Mac let out a sigh of relief. "Good work for all of you then. To have him caught is what matters. I'd join you if I could, but... Well, even I have some sense of following doctor's orders, and I'm staying in here with Flack... Making sure he don't try anything, and he's making sure I don't, either," he said, smirking a little. "But keep us posted, and let us know if there's anything you need from us."

Danny nodded. "Thanks Mac, u would be the first person I'd picture leaving the hospital against medical advice. But we'll keep u in the loop, for sure." he said.

Mac managed a smile and nodded. "Yeah, I know. Thanks for keeping us updated. I'll let Don know you got Lessing now," he said.

Danny nodded. "Sure thing, Mac. Talk to u soon." he said. Don looked at Mac, knowing something was up. "Ok either they found him or they found him dead." he said.

"Thankfully, it's the former," Mac replied. "They just picked him up and they're lugging him back to the precinct as we speak," he said.

Don let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. I wish I could be there to kick him in the ass for what he did to us. He put us here in the hospital. Son of a bitch." he muttered.
